LG electronics was set up in 1958 by In-Hwoi Koo and they were a leader in progress digital period. Moreover they must to thanks to staffs that were skilled of technology about production of electronic such as radio and television. LG electronics produced many products of move equipment and digital televisions in 21st century. And they promoted their state continuously because they wanted to global brand.
, ,,The first time, they were responsible for the first radio made in Korea. The brand name was Goldstar. They use the original of the name “G”. In 1960, they produced Korea’s first consumer radio, TVs, washing machine, refrigerator, and air conditioners. In 1974, Koo Cha-Kyun and Luk-Hin changed its name to Lucky. They used the original “L” of the name. So it became to LG. As Lucky Golstar or simple LG introduced world’s first CDMA digital mobile-handsets, supplied to Ameritech and GTE in the U.S. and developed world's first IC set for DTV in 1997. Next, they released 60- inch plasma TV first time in 1998. In 2001, LG exported the GSM mobile-handset to Russia, Italy, and Indonesia. They were leader of CDMA market. In2002-2003, entered to UK GSM handset market. They produced color mobile phones. After that, they developed about function of 3G such as mobile phones, computer and etc in 2005. Moreover, in 2006 they released LG chocolate KG 800, the first model in LG's Black Label series of premium handsets. In 2008, they introduced new global brand identity of "Stylish design and smart technology, in products that fit our consumer's lives." Next time, they released LG chocolate BL40; it was luxuries and beautiful design in 2009.
LG no longer means Lucky Goldstar but the company uses the motto "Life Is Good."
